We went to several book stores for the Harry Potter release of the new 7th (and possibly final) book. I took Daniel, Brian, Jaime, and John. We started at Books a Million, then went to two Barnes and Nobles stores then went back to Books a Million. The Barnes and Noble stores were PACKED. We didn't even get out of the car at the first B. & N. store. There were two radio stations and a t.v. crew there. There was no parking and about 2,000 people there. At the second B.&N. store we went to, we got a wrist band for being number 750 in line to get the book. So we went back to Books a Million where we were about 300-400 people back in line. But when the clock struck 12:01 a.m. we were through the line in 8 minutes. We waited a little longer to get a box. The box is pretty cool. We were in the car and on the way home at 12:15 a.m. I estimated that the lines at the B.&N. stores would have taken hours. The boys read through chapter one before we got home after taking Jaime and John home. It was about 1:00 a.m. so we all went to bed. They've read off and on all day. I think they got to about chapter 5 or 6 by the end of today. That's including time off because we went to the pool and visited with friends. They can't put the book down!! We had a great time.
