This is such a powerful image. I actually find myself very sad today. Christ gave his life for me! Why me? His death was so long ago, but feels so real, even today. I think I am sad because of God's sacrifice. Would I give my son to save others from sin? I'd like to think that I would be like Abraham and offer Daniel or Brian as a sacrifice. I think it would actually be easier to offer myself. Which makes me wonder, what have I done for God; to further HIS kingdom? If you are reading this, please offer up a prayer for Jesus. Thank him for all that he did. Then maybe reflect on what you could do to follow what Jesus asked of us.
