Disney World, Here We Come!!

It's time for our annual pilgrimage to the "Land of Magic". Dave and I went to DisneyWorld on our honeymoon, eighteen years ago. Dave had never been before. The weekend we went, MGM Studios had just opened. MGM became Dave's favorite park, and continues to be even today. He loves the Fantasmic evening show. It really is a spectacular show. Growing up going to Disney, I have too many fond memories of the Magic Kingdom, so it continues to be my favorite park. We have been blessed to be able to go almost every year since we got married. We had just a couple of years off when the boys came along. We took Daniel and Brian when they were two years and one year old. Brian had just taken his first step only a couple of weeks before we left. We have been to DisneyLand (California) twice now. I have grown to love DisneyLand more than DisneyWorld. It is smaller, but not as crowded. We walk from our hotel right across the street to the parks. We can see the Main Street Electrical parade from our hotel window. How can you beat that? The boys don't really have a favorite park, but favorite rides. Daniel LOVES the Splash Mountain Ride and Brian loves the Tower of Terror ride. There are too many rides for me to have a favorite. Dave loves the Little Mermaid puppet show. He mostly likes the music from the movie. I like seeing the characters. I literally cried the first time I saw Cinderella up close and got my picture with her. And that was only a couple of years ago. We'll post pictures from Disney. We leave on Friday, June 8th!
