A Flash From the Past

I found this picture today on Face Book. It's a picture of the Wando High School Marching Band taken in 1982 when I was a Freshman. I was shocked when I saw it. In many ways, it seems like just a couple of years ago. Then I realize that it was taken almost 27 years ago. My own son will be a Freshman in High School this year! I was the only Freshman on the Pom-Pom Line (later named the Dance Line) at the time. I am standing next to the band director (wearing the bow-tie) to the right of the picture. My sister was on the flag line that year. She's standing somewhere on the top row.
