This was a day of firsts. This was the first time my friend Linda and her husband Kevin joined us on the boat. They are on vacation, and came down to visit us for the day. This was the first time we drove to "the end of the lake". We went as far north on the lake to where it ends at a dam that seperates Lake Keowee from Lake Jocasse. This was the first time Brian rode the Big Mable. And he loved it. This was the first time Linda and I did water sports. We had a blast on the Big Mable. This was the firs time we saw idiots jump from a bridge into the lake. Notice the picture of the bridge and the person getting ready to jump. This was the first time we took our friends to our favorite little dive for dinner. It's called Tony's Italian Style Food. It's a 'ma and 'pa kinda' place and it's some "good eatin'". They make really good food there. This was the first time that we got back to shore and all loaded up before and an afternoon storm rolled through. We didn't get soakin' wet trying to leave. Thankfully we can park the boat at the dock and we don't have to pull it back up on the boat. We had a blast today. Linda and I have been friends over 30 years and we still find ways to have wonderful new experiences together. I am so blessed to have her in my life. Here's a shout out to Linda and her husband Kevin. I hope they have a great vacation and a safe trip back home. And thanks for dinner, you really didn't have to. (Linda, click on any picture to make it large. It will send you to a link for Drop Shots. From there you can right click and copy then save to your computer to be able to make prints for yourself.)

haha, my first comment!! You've gotta stop taking people to Pickens to eat! They're goiong to get bad perceptions of people from Pickens County!! Is that the Highway 11 bridge? There's always some idiot jumping from it!!
Love ya, Kim
